Thin pork-based sausage made using natural smoke and a variety of spices.
People have been enjoying Cabanossi (also known as kabanos or kabana) since medieval times and they are thought to originate from parts of Eastern Europe (likely Poland or Hungary). Today cabanossi remains popular in Europe as we all as many other countries including New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
Cabanossi taste delicious cold as part of a platter of cold cuts, together with cheese and bread but can also be cooked in a variety of dishes.

IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTE: Betscharts meat orders ship separately and are shipped cooled. All meat is freshly prepared on a weekly basis. Deliveries are generally dispatched every Tuesday for orders received by the previous Friday.
Meat delivery is free for orders of $250 (total for meat and standard products) and above. For orders below $250, meat delivery is $10 for Auckland, $12 for the rest of the North Island and $15 for the South Island. Contact us for urgent deliveries.
