Schmid’s egg pasta is produced using a gentle process that brings out the full, hearty taste and aroma of the pasta. Due to the special way they are made, they have a rough surface and absorb a lot of sauce.
Top quality raw materials, such as SSSE class durum wheat semolina and 6 class A eggs per kilogram of semolina give the pasta their appetizing colour and the right ‘bite’. They are boil-proof and nice and fluffy on the plate.
Whether as a side dish, main course or cold in a pasta salad, Schmid’s pasta is ideal for any type of dish.
The German word ‘Löckchen’ refers to the curly or spiral shape of the pasta.
